SYSTEM GUIDE
How to read—and use—the system.
Workflow
- Scan the annual calendar.Start with the top diversified setups for the month.
- Check the live market.Confirm trend, moving averages, support/resistance, events, options and market regime.
- Avoid duplicate exposure.Choose one strong setup when several names express the same sector move.
- Plan the exit before entry.Use the historical hold as a maximum window, with price-based invalidation.
What the key statistics mean
- Discovery win
- Win rate in the older modern-history sample used to discover the setup.
- Unseen win
- Win rate in the recent years held out until after the setup was selected. This is the cleanest confirmation check.
- Full win
- Win rate across all completed historical windows, including discovery and unseen years.
- Full average
- Average directional return across the complete sample. Shorts are scored so a decline is favorable.
- Regime pass rate
- Share of tested eras that met minimum persistence rules.
Dates and holding periods
- Entry
- The first trading day on or after the listed month-day, within five calendar days. It is when to look for an entry—not an automatic buy signal.
- Hold
- The tested number of trading sessions from entry to planned exit.
- Approx. weeks
- Trading-day conversion using roughly five sessions per week. Calendar time can be longer because of weekends and holidays.
Tiers and risk
- Elite
- The strongest statistical tier after correction for multiple tests.
- Verified
- Passed the unseen-year test with sufficient discovery history.
- Verified–Limited
- Passed unseen testing but has a shorter discovery record; size and interpret cautiously.
- Degraded
- Looked strong in discovery but failed unseen-year confirmation. Not an active setup.
V4.1 audited methodology
Modern discovery begins no earlier than 2000. Recent years remain unseen until the exact seasonal setup is locked. Pre-2000 history is used as a robustness check so ancient market behavior cannot dominate signal discovery. Statistics use adjusted close. Entries are tested through 2025; observable 2026 exits for late-2025 entries are included, while 2026 entries are excluded.
Important: Historical seasonality is research evidence, not a guarantee or personalized investment advice.
